Heresy defeated
Bubblegum international Title Match
. |
Heresy
def Bubblegum after hitting him with a brick before
the match began after Bubblegum had made the save
for Dirk Feelgood who was being beaten down by
SIN
Not content to let this match decide the feud however,
Phere attacked Dirk after the bell and soon his
stable mates, Minx, Hayes and Juice ran in to help.
Hoping to save Feelgood from this unprovoked attack
the GPW lockerroom emptied but they were no match
for the combined effort of SIN who took control
of the ring. This would not last long however as
Bubblegum hit the ring and cleared the 4 members
of SIN from the ring not realising Heresy was also
making his way to ringside and seemed to be holding
something. With his back turned Bubblegum did not
see Heresy who then hit Bubblegum with his weapon
(which later turned out to be a brick) which knocked
Bubblegum out cold. Heresy was not yet done however
as he ordered the ring announcer to ring the bell
which led us into….
: International Heavyweight Championship Match:
Bubblegum versus Heresy (champion)
Bubblegum was still out cold but Heresy went for
the pin anyway and ordered the referee to make the
count and with Bubblegum unconscious the 3 count
was pretty much guranteed. Heresy had retained his
title!
Winner and STILL International Heavyweight Champion:
Heresy
SIN celebrated and headed to the backstage earlier
until the now awake Bubblegum was able to grab a
microphone. Bubblegum rightly claimed that had owner
Richard Noble been at the venue (which he wasn’t
in some what of a coincidence) Heresy would never
have been able to win the match under such dubious
circumstances.
Bubblegum then challenged Heresy to face him one
more time at the next show and the always arrogant
Heresy accepted the challenge claiming he could
beat Bubblegum “so easily” the first
time he was more then happy to do it again. Will
this match happen on July 7th? Stay tuned!
