Past Show : GPW: "JAM HOT"  Friday : 16th April  2010

Venue : Monaco Ballroom, Atherton Road, Hindley,
Wigan ,WN2 3EU

GPW: "Jam Hot" features the following:

Main Event GPW British Title Match:
2/3 Falls To A Finish "The Juice" CJ Banks (c) vs. Joey Hayes

Talk about big matches, they don't come much bigger than this. The fans wanted 5 More Minutes, and they've got much, much more! For the second time, these two men will main event the card in a feature 2/3 Falls Match. No matter who the victor at the end of it - this will be the LAST TIME EVER these two will compete for the title!

The rivalry is well known by now, another chapter in that history was written on March 19th when following a superplex Joey thought he'd defeated Juice for the title, he hadn't. The referee had counted both men's shoulders and decided the match to be a draw. The title was taken away from Joey just as quickly as he thought he'd won it and still GPW British Champion - Juice. Juice is now in his 18 month of a singles streak that has seen him only be pinned once. The man that pinned him? Joey Hayes. The two will meet for one final time in a special 2/3 Falls Match where no matter who wins - the referees decision will be final and there will be no chance of a re-match, no re-match clause and nor Joey or Juice will be able to challenge for British Title for as long as the other is champion. If you've not seen these two tear the house down in wrestling classics, you're lucky - you've got one more chance - April 16th, who will leave GPW British Champion?

Hair vs. Hair:
Danny Hope vs. William Gáylord

Well, this one had to end somewhere and it looks set to do just that at GPW: "Jam Hot!" in a special Hair vs. Hair match! These two are 1-1 so far this year, Gáylord using sly tactics behind the referees back to score the win last month and Danny having won clean the month before. It was a confident Gáylord who issued the challenge to Hope following his victory at "Out For Justice" wanting to embarrass Hope, a pin fall victory wasn't enough. Perhaps this is type of match is the only real outcome for these two, two men well known for taking pride in their appearance. Danny, of course no stranger to the catwalks and Gáylord made no bones about his hatred for the "skin headed youth of today" during his feud with RJM. A bald head awaits the loser in the third meeting between Hope & Gáylord, but who will wear it better? Will Danny's modelling days be put behind him? Or will Gáylord join the sector of society he has turned his nose up at his entire life?

 6-Man Tag
Bruce Sheila & Lethal Dose vs. The Eastern Bloc

There's no hiding this time - Bruce Sheila will definitely make his REAL in ring debut at GPW: "Jam Hot!". After arriving in GPW and the UK, it's a surprise Bruce has made any friends at all, but somehow he's acquired the services of Jack Toxic and Cyanide, Lethal Dose who return to GPW to form a formidable looking team. The threesome take on the group that have ensured Bruce's debut run in GPW hasn't gone well at all - The Eastern Bloc! The new found fan favorites have clashed several times with Bruce so far this year but will face him for the first time in a match capacity on April 16th. Can the Eastern Bloc continue the roll they've been on, or can Bruce finally show the crowd he's a serious contender on the roster?"Dangerous" Damon Leigh Interview
The Questions - answered
The former No.1 Contender to the GPW Heavyweight title failed to show for his re-match last month against Juggernaut. Following the no show DDL sacrificed his chance to challenge Juggernaut for the title again. He'd come so close to beating the champ at "Back With A Bang" but for his own reasons Damon chose to not follow it up. There are plenty of rumours doing the rounds, but DDL will definitely be at "Jam Hot" and address the reasons why and will address the rumours surrounding him.

GPW Heavyweight No.1 Contenders Match:
Darkside vs. El Ligero

The two men on the roster battling for supremacy go one on one for a chance to challenge Juggernaut next month for the GPW Heavyweight Title. El Ligero tried to make a challenge last month when DDL failed to show, but he was cut off by Darkside and a steel chair before he got the chance. Darkside, a former Heavyweight champ has made no secret of his ambitions since returning to the roster this year. El Ligero, a man who missed out on a year of action at the hands of Juggernaut not only has his first title in GPW in sight, but also revenge. These two have had their horns locked in battle ever since the first bell of the new year sounded. Now they will get the chance to see who is the more dominant and who can go onto challenge for the prestigious GPW Heavyweight Title.

GPW Tag Title Match
Paradise Lost vs. The Mystics

Tag team champions, Paradise Lost's year ended in tragedy in November 2009 when Heresy suffered a career threatening injury to his eye. Heresy and his partner Kastor LeVay however vowed to continue on defending their tag titles, this will be their first defence. Their opponents, Voodoo and The Great Suzuki have had the champs on the run since the start of the year, embarrassing them at every opportunity. Last month the two pinned LeVay and have earnt the right to challenge for the titles at GPW: "Jam Hot". Can The Mystics embarrass Paradise Lost again and become GPW Tag Team Champions for the first time, or can Paradise Lost do what they threatened to do at the start of the year and "end The Mystics career..."?

Si Valour confronts Dylan Roberts
Two former partners meet...

There are a lot of answers needed here. Si Valour turned his back on his tag team partner last month. Not only did he lariat head off, he then walked and left Dylan Roberts lying in the middle of the ring as the referee counted the 10 count. What made Si snap? The two former tag team partners meet for the first time since last month, i'm sure this will not be for the feint hearted, and i'm sure The MasterPlan wont be too far away...
