For those who "kept the faith"
last month weren't dissapointed. We go into
are penultimate show of a hugely successful
year to do what we've done all year and
that is to "thrill" you yet again.
|
With the announcement of the Crazy Cruiser8 tournament
to end the year on in November, this month brings
some more prestigeouss qualifying matches as well
as some red hot feuds continue to boil!
Over the coming weeks, expect to see more qualifying
matches announced, title matches and also a special
annoncement regarding the tournament. However, for
now to whet your appetites, here is the first match
announced for GPW:
"Friday Night Thriller"
| CC8
last chance Battle Royal |
Up next the
last chance battleroyal. One of these individuals
will get the chance to qualify for the Cruiser 8.
There are no allies in this match, so the brothers
Rupert and Mike will be forced to make a tough call
should they clash. Minx will no doubt have her SIN
allies to help her win this match as they would
like to have as many members in the Cruiser 8 as
possible. When "The Dragon" is motivated
he is practically untouchable and he has won previous
battleroyals so he has experience on his side. Then
we come to new star Darkside who will be hoping
to make a huge impact upon his debut. Paddy D did
exceptionally well in the 30 Man Royal Rumble back
in May. Sam Bailey who debuted last month doesnt
want to let his new fans down. D Lyrium is fresh
off a huge win in a 6 man tag last month and would
be a fine addition to the tournament likewise Elroy
would like to finish his rookie year on a high note.
So many favourites, only one place to see who will
be the last man standing...

| Johnny
Phere vs. Bubblegum
|
Bubblegum, having already qualfied for the tournament
last month can put his CC8 hopes on hold as he
tackles SIN member Johnny Phere. Phere whose win/loss
record hasn't been an enviable one of recent months,
however the problems Bubblegum has caused SIN
this year will surely spur the "Psychotic
Warrior" on to try and put an early end to
Bubblegums CC8 tournament. And of course, Minx
wont be far behind... But can Bubblegum put one
over SIN again?
Whatever plans you had for the 13th have just
changed. Be there. More matches to follow....
| Dirk
Feelgood vs. © Heresy |
The seeds were
sewn last month when The Monk of Funk ran to Georges'
rescue and vowed to embarres Heresy has he had done
George. Heresy tried to rain on Dirks parade after
his huge win against Smothers but it backfired and
Heresy was sent packing. The International Champion
has held the belt 8 months now - can Dirk be the
man to beat him?!?! Dirk has vowed to embaress Heresy
and Heresy has vowed to beat Dirk without S-I-N
by his side. This heavyweight clash is a first anywhere
and not to be missed!
And another match to get you talking....
Stealing
underwear didn't get Flood anywhere with Roxi.
Neither did the flowers, the cuddly toy or the
framed photo of himself. Flood hasnt seemed to
understand that "no" means "no"
but who am i to deny a man of his sexual urges!?!
If Flood wins this intergender match he gets his
wish and scores a date with Roxi. If Flood loses
however, i'll grant Roxis wish of a 25ft re-straining
order. This one will be interesting.

Qualifier: Spud vs. Joseph Hayes |
Spud returns
to GPW with one thing on his mind - to qualify
for the Crazy Cruiser8! Problem is, he'll have
to get passed the undefeated Joseph Hayes to do
it. Two of the very best young superstars on the
UK scene will meet for the first time ever to
do battle for a CC8 place. Spuds' accolades reach
far and wide and Joseph Hayes is simply the best
thing on the European scene right now. One of
the most recognised and succesful high flyers
in the UK - Spud takes on SIN member Hayes - a
man who has had evolved superbly and had a fantastic
18 months - but only one can qualify. Be there
to see this, and be there to be able to say "i
was there the day Spud fought Hayes" - -
because everyone else will be saying it.
| In
other news regarding the CC8, on Friday there
will be a special announcement of 3 European
wrestlers who have received a Wildcard entry
into the tournament. |
After a hard fought loss to British Champion Dangerous
Damon Leigh, Mil-Anfields' Jiggy Walker has not
been happy since. He wants another shot. These
two will be in the building this Friday, but taking
into account Walkers tendancy to attack without
provication.... i feel it's best not having anything
planned for these two!! Expect fireworks!
Still to come - - - - more CC8 qualifiers + someone
has a debut! But who is it!?
