GPW will be back after a short break on August 14th for a rare Saturday slot at The Monaco Ballroom, Hindley, Wigan. The first order of business is a slight name change, from this point on we're ditching the Garage (some might say about time!) and re-branding as Grand Pro Wrestling, but we're still staying very much GPW!
On with what you can expect to see on August 14th at GPW: "Alive & Amplified"...

GPW Heavyweight Title:
The Future

Firstly, during the Summer there have been some major developments in the Heavyweight Title scene. For reasons to be unveiled at "Alive & Amplified" Juggernaut can no longer be recognised as the GPW Heavyweight Champion and the title has been vacated. The future of the belt will be announced at the show.

Main Event:
El Ligero vs. Mark Kodiak

Two names that should create all the hype needed without anything else needing to be said take up the main event slot in a first time ever meet. The UK's very own luchador, El Ligero takes on the man from The Netherlands known as "The Girzzly Renegade" Mark Kodiak in singles action.
After a lengthly hiatus, Kodiak returned to GPW in May at "A Few More Good Men" entering No.16 in the 30 Man Rumble, lasting until the final 2 and striking fear into the hearts of all the GPW superstars. Although eventually eliminated by DDL, Kodiak made a big enough impression to return for "Alive & Amplified" in the main event to do it all over again. His opponent is GPW mainstay El Ligero. One of the most recognisable superstars in the UK, Ligero has wrestled near enough everybody - apart from Kodiak. These two men's paths have never crossed before, so what will happen when they do for the first time at GPW: "Alive & Amplified"?

One thing is for certain this will be a match for the ages!

CJ Banks British Title Open Challenge:
"The Juice" CJ Banks © vs. ????

For the first time since winning the title, "The Juice" CJ Banks will issue a special British Title Open Challenge to anyone from GPW and beyond man enough to take him on in singles action. Who will take up the challenge?
The MasterPlan's 3rd Member:
Revealed on August 14th
After months of hype we are told that The MasterPlan's much talked about 3rd member will make himself known. Who could this person be?

Singles Match:
Joey Hayes vs. Bruce Sheila

Bruce Sheila has failed to make many friends since his arrival in GPW. Still in his rookie year, on August 14th he'll take on a man who's been on the roster since the beginning - the mega popular, Joey Hayes. In this first time singles match, Joey will look to teach the arrogant Aussie a thing or two about what it takes to succeed at GPW, whereas Sheila will be looking to cause an upset and make a name off Hayes' back. Sheila is fresh off the heels of a big victory over Jak Domitrescu in May and a respectable Rumble run, entering No.29 and eliminated by the eventual winner, DDL. Can Joey teach Bruce a lesson, or will Sheila score an upset?

4-Way Tag Team No.1 Contenders Match:
"Super" Sam Bailey vs. Cameron Kraze vs. Xander Cooper vs. Jak Domitrescu

With Voodoo on the injured list and no viable No.1 Contenders to Paradise Lost's tag team trophy, at "Alive & Amplified" we'll discover who the new No.1 Contenders are in a special 4-way match. Each individual represents themselves and a partner, whoever is victorious at the end will have the opportunity to pick a partner of their choosing and challenge Paradise Lost to their Tag Team Trophy.
It's well documented 4-ways in GPW have always provided the highest quality of match, and one man synonymous with many of those in the past has been "Super" Sam Bailey. Bailey will once again compete in another fantastic looking 4-way for the chance at a title he held alongside Matt Taylor over 3 years ago from Feb - July 2007. The MasterPlan's Cameron Kraze will most certainly have the size advantage going into this match, but will the fact he's not been in this type of match before hinder him?
We are told the MasterPlan's 3rd member will unveil himself on Aug 14th, could this be timed to help Kraze win here?
Relative GPW newcomer, Xander Cooper represents Prof.
Mike Holmes' group and has a multitude of possible tag team partners to choose from should he win, not to mention his regular tag team partner Carl Clinch. And the worrying thing is, you feel as though Mike Holmes would happily return to the lab and invent another superstar to assist Cooper if his man won. The Eastern Bloc leader, Jak Domitrescu makes up the 4th and final competitor in a match that could well be very suited to the Eastern Bloc's methods. The Bloc are known to travel in a group with Kristov Eganski, Thor Laarson and Vladimir Radkov never far away and a move into the tag division could be the wisest move the massively popular Bloc. However, can they be successful? The Monaco faithful will surely be cheering them on. But who will emerge No.1 Contenders at the end?

Grudge Match:
Dylan Roberts vs. Dirk Feelgood

In a feud that has gone on for months, Dylan will finally get a shot in a singles match against the man that has made life a living hell - The MasterPlan's Dirk Feelgood. Feelgood has been to great lengths to try and recruit Dylan into a movement he's called The MasterPlan since October last year. Dylan rebufed all Dirks' offers again and again as he and then tag partner Si Valour fought bravely against the evil MasterPlan duo of Cameron Kraze and Dirk Feelgood. However, Valour turned on Dylan as he looked to impress Dirk and appeal to joining the MasterPlan himself. In a shocking turn of events, former Heavyweight Champion, Dirk Feelgood slammed the door to the MasterPlan shut right in Valour's face and announced he would no longer be conducting his business publicly and he would recruit his 3rd man "behind the scenes".
Roberts has been on an emotional journey having had his partner turn on him and himself subject to beat downs and punishment, not forgetting it was Feelgood who cost him any chance he had of advancing in the Crazy Cruiser-8 Tournament 2009.
On August 14th, these two will come together in special grudge match where they will settle their differences for good. Can good overcome evil, or will Dirk have yet another plan in place?

8-Man Mega Match:
Jack Gallagher, Fox Carter & Paradise Lost vs. Ricky J. McKenzie, The Great Suzuki, Vladimir Radkov & Kristov Eganski

This huge 8 man match throws up all sorts of never before seen clashes as 2 time regaining GPW Tag Team Trophy holders, Paradise Lost team with CJ Banks protege, Fox Carter and the man formerly known as Jack Toxic, tag team specialist - Jack Gallagher. An impressive looking team combine for the first time to take on an equally impressive looking opposition. The hottest rookie in the country is starting to mature and find his place on the roster, Ricky J. McKenzie finds allies in a former GPW Tag Team Champion - The Great Suzuki along with Eastern Bloc duo, Vladimir Radkov & Kristov Eganski. The boys from the Bloc are able to call upon previous tag team experience with one another to work efficiently but will all four of their teams individual talents be enough to defeat Gallagher, Carter & the GPW tag team champions? And what impact will this have going forward?
Also in the house on August 14th will be GPWs newest superstar - Leo Love!

GPW Saturday nights are a rare occasion, even rarer are shows as good looking as this. Kodiak / Ligero main event, MasterPlan's 3rd member, Grudge Match, Heavyweight Title announcement, British Title Open Challenge, Singles Match, 4 Way and an 8 man? All for £7 per person or £24 for a family of 4.
Those living a distance away put off by travel on our regular Friday night slots have no excuses this time!
