Photography © Tony Knox WKDs Chris Echo has put together the next generation of GPW stars as he goes back to his "geeky" days to recruit the ever fearless Rupert Holmes, along with GPW new comers Benson Richards and Dylan Roberts, who have both made brief appearances this year. Under the guidance of Echo, Richards and Roberts could well make a bigger impression on the roster. Their opponents have all been put together by a man who is beginning to carve a reputation as a master mind in management - Alan A.A Tasker. With former British Champion The Juggernaught already on his books, Tasker last month put his name to "Iron" Mike Holmes and his new attitude and this month he brings both Cyanide and Toxic to GPW together as the incredible force that is Lethal Dose who will make their debut. His 4th man we are told is "MegaStar" Kev Noir who will also make his debut this Friday. In a match with a lot to prove for either team, this one will certainly be one to watch! Poster design © Gary Mason. Photography © Tony Knox SINs Juice will lead his team of The Mil-Anfield Connection (Danny Hope and Jiggy Walker) along with debutant Kelly Adams against a team lead by the Mexican Sensation - El Ligero. Ligero will have the backing of 3 members of WKD - "Super" Sam Bailey, D'Lyrium and Roxi. The tag team feud over the last few months between Mil-Anfield and WKD has been captivating. Can Roxi and the WKD boys continue to give "The Model" Danny Hope and Jiggy Walker the run around? Or can the Mil-Anfield boys impose their will on the champions and make a press for the titles? Now that Mil-Anfield have recruited Kelly Adams, what effect will she have on this feud? There have been few feuds that have had everything, but the ever simmering rivalry between Juice and Ligero is proving that this feud is one of the best of the year. Much like WKD, El Ligero has managed to give Juice the run around and Juice has failed to beat El Ligero in all their encounters, and has only succeeded in stealing his mask. As the two captains lead their men into war expect a thrilling encounter between these two teams!!! Poster design © Gary Mason. Photography © Tony Knox Keen to show the wrestling world he is still hot property after his incredible undefeated streak came to an end last year, SINs Joseph Hayes has chosen to defend his newly won No.1 Contendership to the British Title. "Retro" Dave Rayne was the man quickest off the mark to accept the challenge. The GPW new comer is also keen to make an impact on the roster. Poster design © Gary Mason. Photography © Tony Knox Travis and Valour have now been picked by captain Dirk Feelgood to join his Do-Gooders this Friday. With these two additions, just take a look at the elements we have in this main event now Kodiak, the man responsible for breaking champion Feelgoods wrist two months in a row, yet this will be the first time the two have ever met in the ring. DDL was the man who kept everyone guessing which team he would choose, he emphatically chose the Do-Gooders smashing Heresy over the head with a steal chair. Surely Heresy will not let this go unpunished? New comer Si Valour was the man solely responsible for ending the "Year Of Phere" on his debut, the Psychotic Warrior Johnny Phere will be dying to get retribution on Valour as Valour looks to cement his reputation on the GPW roster. Dom Travis has had his horns locked with Heresy since the start of the year in a hard hitting feud that has had no clear winner despite each man hitting each other with their best shots. How will this impact in a battle of survival? And with the masters of the mind games still yet to confirm their 4th man, which i'm told they will on the night, Dirks Do-Gooders will be kept guessing right 'til the end. This match has explosion written ALL over it! Last April GPW said we'd put on the best rumble in Europe - and we did, we said we'd give you the most entertaining Cruiserweight Tournament in Europe back in November and we did and on May 18th we'll give you the best Survivor Series elimination night you've ever seen! If you want to believe again? Come and see what wrestling should be, and you'll go home believing. |
