Due to Phere’s
assault, Dirk’s DoGooders began the night one
man down as they looked to not only overturn Kodiak’s
Killers but get revenge for the night’s earlier
occurrences. The DoGooders began with Dom Travis,
British Champion Dangerous Damon Leigh and Dirk (this
marked the first time the British Champion and the
International Heavyweight Champion had teamed up),
while the fearsome foursome of Heresy, Johnny Phere,
Darkside and Mark Kodiak were their opponents, Kodiak’s
Killers.

Almost expectedly,
a brawl amongst all seven men immediately ensued
but normality was soon restored as Dom Travis and
Johnny Phere fought in the ring. Despite being caught
on the ropes (in a place it is best not to discuss)
following a host of exchanges between both teams,
it was DDL that ultimately caused the Killers first
downfall and levelled the contest to a three on
three battle. After Travis T-Bone Suplexed Heresy
out of the ring and Travis was hit with a huge spear
from Johnny Phere, Leigh and Feelgood double teamed
Darkside before Leigh but him away with a suplex.
Stunned by
the elimination, Heresy set about reducing the deficit
and went after his opponents. Sure enough, it was
Dom Travis who ended up isolated from his team as
a result of the Killers onslaught. Despite being
splashed, triangle choked and suplexed by Kodiak,
Travis managed to tag out of the ring but exerted
lots of energy when he and Feelgood dived on to
of the other combatants on the outside after another
brawl broke out.

But he wasn’t
the only one to take risks. In a surely unprecedented
move, Heresy shot through the middle ropes to take
out everybody once again. But it was Travis who paid
the ultimate price when Kodiak elbowed him from the
top rope and was successfully pinned. Sure enough,
Heresy’s dive had completely the opposite effect
as he soon hit his patented Breaking Restraints manoeuvre
on DDL to leave Feelgood having surely a slim chance
of victory for his team in a now 3 on 1 handicap contest.Showing
incredible resilience, Dirk kicked out of Heresy and
Kodiak’s huge double vertical suplex and remained
in the battle despite a pain wrenching submission
attempt by Phere.
Then the
unpredictable happened. Si Valour, sporting that
neck brace following the table breaking move he
endured earlier on, ran in, tagged Dirk and just
like ‘Hot Gossip’ two months ago, caught
Johnny Phere in a small package to leave him and
Feelgood squaring off against Kodiak and Heresy.
Unfortunately, Valour’s momentum would only
last so long. A double team manoeuvre from Heresy
and Kodiak eliminated Valour and left Feelgood once
again facing a stacked deck. But Feelgood, quickly
realising the trouble he was in, wasted no time
in levelling SIN leader Heresy with his famous Rug
Cutter to ensure the match would be settled by another
chapter of the boiling Feelgood v Kodiak rivalry.

“I can break your neck right now!” yelled
Feelgood, as the two starred each other down. After
he won an exchange of punches, it seemed Feelgood
would go on to win the match that seemed so far
away from him not so long ago. Avoiding a top rope
somersault from Kodiak and kicking out of a splash,
it seemed destiny would dictate that Dirk’s
DoGooders would be victorious. But Kodiak had other
ideas.
He soon speared
Feelgood, dragged him to the far corner of the ring
and nailed him with the infamous Grizzly Bomb to
get the three count and ultimately win the match
for his team.
The Dutchman, in a final insult, then spat on Feelgood
and demanded that photographer Tony Knox snap him
holding the International Heavyweight Championship
and standing on his opponent.
But Dirk remained defiant, grabbing the house mike
and telling Kodiak: “You broke my wrist but
nothings gonna stop me! I’ll see you next
month, in this ring, in GPW, at the Monaco Ballroom!
Now get your fat arse out of our country, you Dutch
slag!”
Never count out Dirk Feelgood. No one can doubt
he will hit Kodiak with all he can give next month
as he bids to retain the International Heavyweight
gold.
